The question tangling before the pensioners community is how to get  the pension updation  without stepping on the egos of IBA ,DFS and UFBE.The legal route is bristled with delay , cost , time overrun and chances of victory is 50:50. Approaching FM is easier said than done. Expecting FM to intervene is also not guaranteed. The Govt stand is very clear. If IBA and UFBU arrives at a consensus on pension updation and the proposal is forwarded to DFS, the same will be examined for appropriate action. Who would now force IBA to initiate the process of dialogue with UFBE for a amicable settlement. The ball is in the court of IBA and who can inveigle IBA into affirmatory action? If this does not happen , updation remains  a dream which can never be translated into reality.
