Retirees' Grievances Redressal Meeting was held today - 23rd Oct at our HO Bengaluru.
Our GM Mr. LVR Prasad, DGM Mr Girees Kumar, AGM Mr Janakirama Rao, 2 DMs & Officials of various sections of our HR Wing were present on behalf of the Management.
CBROA was represented by GS A N Krishna Murthy & Mr. D A Suresh, RS.All the Agenda items were taken up for discussions.
The following are the major highlights/response of our HR Wing
# IBA is compelled to go by the terms dictated by United India Ins Co regarding renewal of Policy.
Request for subsidising the renewal premium will be placed before the Competent Authority.
Existing Pension Loan facility to meet renewal premium will continue for this year also.
>1616 -1684 DA arrears -
So far, arrears paid to 6821 pensioners retired up-to 31.10.2002, 188 retired between 1/11/2002 & 30/4/2005 & 171 cases are pending for want of Data, will be paid shortly.
Arrears to Family Pensioners & spouses of Deceased Pensionerswill be paid before Deepavali,
Arrears Calculation Sheets will be made available to all the eligible pensioners latest by 30/11/2018.
# 5 yrs Additional notional weightage for fixation of Pension to Direct Recruit Specialist Officers as per Pension Reg. 26 -
Out of 47 eligible cases, 38 have been settled & 9 are pending for non avialabilty of Data, will be attended within 2 weeks.
# Pension to employees awarded punishment of Compulsory Retirement -
79 eligible employees have remitted the amount, 27 have been paid pension & the remaining cases are pending for want of Data & recommendations from Circles. Being followed up with the Circles.
# Staff Welfare Measures -
As the Bank has posted loss as at Mar 2018, the Board has approved only a few items which could not be stopped & based on the performance in December Qr, the matter will be placed to Board. (We have brought to their notice that under similar situation in 2017, all the prevailing items were continued & hence, there is a precedence).Dear Friends, we have discussed all other Agenda items also.
Let's await the proceedings of the meeting being issued by the Management, which will be shared later.Regards
