Thank you for your information. Thi sis useful. Let us face dark reality. Time and again Serving unions and retiree organizations have been boasting of their achievements. But reality is this and shocking.
Since Employees Pension Regulations 1995 and subsequent second option  signed, IBA/Banks refused following benefits provided in Pension Regulations and agreements.
5 years benefit, gratuity to  6th BPS retirees, 50% Basic Pension from DOR, Pension to CRS retirees, Pension to Special officers, 100% DA, Pension Updation, Family pension improvement. Has any serving unions and Retiree organizations contributed anything to resolve these issues?
Gratuity to 6th BPS retirees, 50% Basic Pension from DOR, Pension to CRS and special officers were achieved through judiciary. This is possible because of persistent efforts of few individual retirees and not because of any Union or retiree organization. While Unions actually supported IBA actions in remaining in background retiree organizations simply wasted time writing letters to IBA which none of them replied by IBA. Almost 10-15 years wasted and AIBRF has not been able to decide whether taking negotiation stand or approaching courts. Neither UFBu nor AINRF/AIBPARC seriously took up the issue. UFBU kept quiet when issues were not in court and when issues were taken to court blamed retirees for approaching courts. All three UFBU, AIBRF, CBPRO are just interested in retaining their power and posts and simply brainwashing retirees.
When medical insurance premium is reaching sky high and pensioners are unable to continue the same, unions have not demanded banks to bear the cost of Insurance premium of retirees also.Instead they are demanding loans. Most of clerical staff are receiving pension less than 15000. They might have already received pension loan. Again this addition loan. How much take home pension they receive after deduction of these loans? Has any Union leader spared a thought for this?
All are simply posing as achieving historical success while in reality meekly surrendering benefits provided in pension regulations. These so called militant leaders are not even able to ensure that SC verdict dated 13.02.2018, implemenred properly in all banks.
Most shameful.

Fine. It is understood that this year there will not be any assistance from swf like Rs.2500. This was disclosed in grievance meeting held on 23rd. This was also indicated by MR. Ballur of CBROA. These trade union people are totally surrendering and spineless. BOB has given for subsidy of medical ins. this year.  Have u not seen the minutes of grievance meeting.

Dear G.Shekar,
How are you? Every year during July-August our Bank used to issue circular announcing reimbursement of Medical expenses to the extent of Rs.2500. Any news about that?
