For the first time the case is in regular list as Sl No 1.

Hope IBA too may submits it's chart as required by court and case may have a logical conclusion after decades wait let it be  either positive or negative.

The next stage is to look for daily cause list/supplementary list of 25th/26th Feb (to be announced on previous day)in which our case has to find a place and we have to hope that it will be taken up for further hearing.

There are two impediments.1) The IBA ADVOCATE INFORMED THE COURT ON 5/2 THAT HE WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE BY 25/2.  2] IBA SIDE HAS NOT YET SUBTTTED THE CHART.

Yes. Very senior pensioners are eagerly awaiting a divine intervention for pension updation at least now after a tough legal battle over the years. Hope there will not be any disappointment to pensioners.

Still this is not the time to predict the verdict. However 750000 pensioners wish that there will be some good news on 25th Feb for pensioners.  It is a herculean task to get the date for hearing. Fortunately M C Songla case is listed before Holi vacations, that too at Serial No.1. 

Whether we like it or not, pensioner side petitioners have taken their stand and also submitted data as directed by court in time. Let us hope irrespective of whatever their arguments. IBA/Banks also will submit data before 25th without seeking adjournment, so that case will move forward to the next stage.

Today IBA has submitted 200 page documents to SC as directed by SC.

In addition to charts IBA has submitted additional details like affidavit copies, pensioners reply to affidavit  Joint Notes and settlement details of 12 th BPS (May be ex gratia details) and other documents.

This is a good development and MC Singla case may conclude shortly.
