Retired employees

 of the 

central government

 can now lodge their 

pension-related grievances

 by simply calling the toll-free number 1800-11-1960, in addition to using existing modes such as post, online, mobile app and email.


Inaugurating the Integrated Grievance Cell and Call Centre for 

pensioners

 set up by the department of 

pension

 and pensioners' welfare (DoPWW) in New Delhi on Thursday, junior minister for personnel Jitendra Singh said the initiative was one of the department's "big announcements" in the first 100 days of Modi government 2.0. The call centre will make life easier for pensioners, he said, adding that it will also help in value addition to the entire process as the pensioners will provide inputs and suggestions for improving the system.


Before registering the grievance in the Centralised Pension Grievance Redress And Monitoring System (CPENGRAMS) - which now has a dedicated cell located at Janpath Bhavan in the Capital - the pensioners welfare executive will try to address the query of the aggrieved pensioner. If needed, the call will be transferred to a senior officer of DoPWW, for a personalised touch.

DoPWW began the trial run for the call centre on May 31, during which it received 70-100 calls per day. Pensioners welfare executives have been registering the grievances or providing updates on the status of those already registered.


When the pensioner calls, his/her query/grievance will be noted in 100 words after the call so that he/she need not explain the grievance again. The status of the grievance can be instantly traced through mobile number of the pensioner or PPO number, and communicated to him/her. The centre will also pressure departments to resolve problems of the elderly, said Singh.

Will this helpline help in resolving our common issue of Upgradation in parity with RBI, 100% DA to pre-2002 Retirees, Enhancement of Family Pension? If not, can we convert the same as individual issue, such as ' My Pension is not upgraded in parity with RBI,  as provided in Pension Rule' or ' I am not getting 100% DA, even though my colleague retired after 2002 is getting the same' or 'My family Pension is very meager,  i.e. 15%, so I cannot survive' like this?

BIG CHALLENGES AHEAD FOR UFBU
As reported in local Kannada online Blog
Continuing its policy of zero tolerance of corruption, it is reported that Central Govt has instructed all PSU Banks to identify non performers and corrupt officers ( including those who tried to outsmart govt by indulging in corrupt practices to derail demonetization scheme) and take disciplinary action. Govt has also instructed PSU Banks to review performance of employees once in 15 days and send report to concerned department.
This rule applies to all PSUs.

Who is responsible for the huge bad debts and looted the hard earned profits?,Definitely ordinary employees are not  responsible. It is the nexus bet govt and big business concern and stooge top management  are the culprit of scams in pus banks.Why retirees and award staff should suffer with meager pension and mean wage revision .UFBU wake up get United and launche bitter fight for your survival .

Unfortunately, these do not work for only Bank
Pensioners/retirees!

If at all one cares to submit a grievance, it will
find its place to IBA to whom forwarded and 
thus its fate is known to us.
