Shri.P S Jayakumar, Managing Director & CEO of our bank patiently heard us & enquired if we can give him the cost to the bank in meetingthese demands. We told him that IBA has undertaken this exercise. We told him that we are forced to go to the Courts to seek justice for many things. Then, we brought up the 100% DA neutralisation case which is pending in the Supreme Court as our Bank has gone on appeal against a favourable High Court order. We told him how IBA is using this as a ploy to defer a decision on this demand. He asked us details of the benefit which will accrue to us.
We told him that the monthly DA can increase from Rs.300 to Rs.10,000 depending on the Basic Pension fixed at the time of retirement. The Executives from Scale IV onwards will benefit the most from this & their numbers are comparatively lesser than other categories. Shri.P S Jayakumar, Managing Director & CEO of our bank told us that he will be attending an Executive Committee meeting in IBA on 27th July and discuss this. He also asked his Secretary to fetch the details on the 100% DA neutralization case which is coming up for hearing soon.
(i) further to our visit to Hon. Poonam Mahajan's Office 27 July 2016, I received a call from her P A in Delhi, yesterday night at about 11 pm, informing that work/research regarding our issues in progress and very soon it will be brought on the floors of Parliament.

(k) On 5th August,2016 Our Organising Secretary, Shri Rajan Dhargalkar met the Honorable Central Minister , Shri Anant Gite in Mumbai and submitted the booklet. He has assured fullest support for our cause.

(m) We are in touch with the Honorable Minister of State for Finance, Shri Satish Gangwar for early appointment with him for presenting our issues in detail and seek his support for early solution. We expect to get appointment in September, 2016.
You will kindly find from the above details that our efforts are going on war footing for resolution of retiree issues with the support of our affiliates, state committees, central committee members, office bearers and activists who are making all possible efforts for the retiree cause. However it is very unfortunate that some of our central committee members are spreading unwarranted messages and rumors through mails that AIBRF is silent and doing nothing for retiree issues. It is our appeal to all our comrades to continue to show unity in these hours of struggle and ignores such messages.
With Warm Regards
Yours Sincerely,
( S.C.JAIN )
GENERAL SECRETARY
AIBRF has always approached issues positively and taking all necessary steps to bring to the notice of FM our long pending issues. Earlier also many members of Parliament at the request of AIBRF wrote to FM regarding our problems. However FM has not given any serious attention to our problems so far.
Now we are glad to note that FM in his letter No. 235500 Dated 12.08.2016 has replied to MP regarding our problems. This is indeed a good beginning.
We are grateful to AIBRF for its efforts.
