Has anyone received the credit for the EXGratia from IOB. I am posting on behalf of my Father in Law. Only the Pension for Mar-24 along with the exgratia for Mar-24 was credited

I am PINNAMARAJU V V SUBBA RAJU. I am also pensioner from Indian overseas Bank.  

I received pension for March along with exgratia. Exgratia arrears were not yet paid.

Why is IOB delaying the EX-gratia payments, while other banks have already paid them. Also if you see IOB pays the March month Pension only in the 1st week of April. Why is that?

With who can we lodge a complaint for the delayed payments - Will IOB provide interest on the delayed payment of 16 month Ex-gratia?

Exactly, this is not fair for the bank to hold the arrears payment because as it is they have got this after a very very long wait. All the other banks have paid it along with the pension and why should they unnecessarily delay it and t the bank is liable to pay interest for the delayed period.

First of all pension paid on April because as per rules in a year not more than 12 pensions to be paid, that is why  March pension paid in April. Do not ask interest other wise IOB ask interest for paying pension one day in advance from April to Feb 😃

     I think that you do not the fact that sbi pensioners are yet to receive their exgratia arrears and exgratia pension. This for your information.

IOB has paid the Ex-gratia Arrears today
