Dear fiends,

Attaching a copy of the letter from our Apex organisation, All India Retired Bank Employees Association.  We are of the firm opinion that we should not allow classification of Bank Pensioners Cadre/Scale wise.  We have no cadre/scale

Thanks, a Million.

With regards,

Dear Friends,

The letter sent by AIRBEA to IBA on dividing retirees on the basis of scale while in service in the matter of deciding premium on IBA GMIS is apt and factual.
Even other wise bank pensioners are now divided into different segments based on date of retirement.
Let us wait for the response of IBA.
Regards
Mohan.P

Thank you Mr.C N Prasad for taking up the issue with IBA.
Earlier AIBRF and AIBPARC also have sent representations to IBA in this regard.
We are all aware that though IBA-UFBU have agreed to review EX gratia in 2024 and thereafter every year,
there is no revision in ex gratia so far.
CLC after  representation by WE BANKERS with regard to Non Revision of EX gratia, had sent a notice to IBA.
IBA in its reply to CLC, has maintained that Except UFBU who are parties to  BPS settlement, others have no locus standi to  raise complaint against IBA or question the agreements.
IBA also submitted before CLC that EX gratia  was reviewed in 2024 and 2025.
So it is  futile to expect that iBA will consider retirees' representations.

It is not wise to divide pensioners on the basis of grades after retirement.

Instead the base policy can be redesigned as for ₹ 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 lakhs.  The retirees can opt their required amount and pay the premium as fixed.

After retirement all should be called with a single nomenclature i.e., retirees/pensioners.

IBA and UFBU will never consider any representation submitted by any retirees organisations. The UFBU leaders will innagurate and make false promises in the conferences and the retirees innocently clapp clapp.
Let us not worry about on going drama Played by the UFBU and IBA.
