As a rejoinder, I hereby appeal to all the SBM retireees to become a member of 'SBM PENSIONERS' COMMUNE (R)', irrespective the fact that whether he/she was a erstwhile award-staff/officer. They are now individually recognised as a pensioner. Com. N. Jagannath, once upon a time, very famous and respected trade-union leader is leading/guiding the unit. Com. C.N. Prasad is the vice-President, who is a regular contributor to this site and a very active and committted volunteer. The details of the unit is available in the attached recent circular of the unit. Pensioners are scattered everywhere and normally ill-informed. This is a forum for them.

Dear Mohandas,

So far I am not a memberr of the Commune.  As you have written Sri Jagannathan was our beloved leader when we were award staff.  He is a wellknown Trade Union activist.  Mr. Prasad also is enlightning us of our rights and the latest developments as regards pensioners' court cases etc.

Friend, heeding to your  appeal I will also become a member of SBMPC.

Hope, the other comrades will also follow.

Dear Srinivas Murthy,

Regarding the form and other details can be had from the association office at Chennai. I am only a member of the association that too in south corner of the Tamilnadu. I do not have any form and the details in soft copy. Once again  I an giving the correct email id and phone numbers of the association office / office bearers.  I request all the retirees ( irrespective of cadre ) of our Bank – Indian Bank – to join this association to strengthen the hand of our association to do better service to all of us.  

 

Copy marked to the association office, for further follow up. 

I request/ suggest to the association that  a web site may be opened and all the details with necessary application forms  with the association’s  Bank account number with details may be uploaded for the benefit of all our retiree staff.

Guidelines  for  Bank  Retirees  are  being  sent  by  reproduction,  circulation  for  the  benefit  of  members  has  been  available  on  the  net/electronics   media  like  Email/web cite    of  the  present  Association  or  AIBRF,  AIBEA,  AIBOC,  UFBU.  If   any  of  the  group  friends  are  having  any  such  information,  this  is  the  BEST  available  BANK   PENSIONER  GROUP  for  mutual  benefits  of  EVERYONE   CONCERN.

I am working for a retirees group and now at central committee of AIBRF also.What you say is correct, which was raised by me in last central committee meeting held at Lonawala, Pune and the committee has entrusted the same.The website will be launched soon,will serve the purpose stated by you.
