It is confusing. DHC directed the committee to consult petitioner retirees SBI retirees federation and also get views of IBA and take independent decision.

Now what letter SBI federation has written on 25th Aug 23 and why this meeting again?  Is there any compromise settlement?

12, 13 and 14th of this month are very important days and there may be some good progress, if not decision, as far as updation is concerned. But it will not have any impact on 100%DA, which is already minuted and pending for approval from DFS. The delay in granting approval is understandable, as the govt was busy with G20 meeting and ensuing special session may delay it further.

Will be happy they (both 100%DA and pension updation) are offered as Deepavali gifts.

Is there any attempt by UFBU to sabotage updation?

Surprisingly this officers federation did not take up issues of Updationand 100% DA but only focussed on 40% pension issue of SBI pensioners.

I smell something fishy here. The committee had given an opportunity to petitioners i,e. SBI retirees federation to present their views and suggestions

As per reports they have presented their views on 50% Pension, 100% DA and Updation. Now the issue is pending with DFS for conclusion and to submit report to court.

Now what   was the urgency for officers federation to seek appointment with DFS and take up only 50% pension issue sidelining Updation?

SBI retirees federation is also a part of This officers federation. Are there any attempts to convince petitioners to drop updation issue in court?

There seems to be no end for the agony of Bank pensioners.

!2th, 13th and 14th dates wee disappointment to pensioners.

In 12th Sep Workmen and IBA meet issue of delay in approval of 100% DA and updation issues were not mentioned

On 13th Case filed by one Mr,Vasanth Vaikundre came up for hearing. Both Canara Bank and IBA lawyers  without committing anything on updation strongly argued that there is no provision for pension updation in Pension regu and the case is not maintainable as another case filed by late Mr,Singla is pending in SC. Case was adjourned to 27th Sep for arguments of petitioner,

14th Sep

On 14th sep Officers associations discussed misc items with IBA and pensioners issues were not mentioned.

On the same day the rep of the State Bank officers federation met DFS officials to discuss pensioners issues raised in WP1875/2013 pending in DHC.

Though 100% DA and Updation are subject matter of litigation, the said rep of SBI officers federation only took up 40/50% pension issue of SBI pensioners submitting two page representations on the same.Neither issue of 100% approval and nor Updation were raised in the meeting.
