I am already a member of the Group "Bankpe...@googlegroups.com" with a different email ID, kmra...@gmail.com, and have not turned off either invites or direct addition. 

By mistake, I had unsubscribed from "sbmpen...@googlegroups.com" and need readmission, for which I had requested twice to the Admin there. This is irrelevant here.
