Our pension updation demand will not get finalized  until pending SC case is disposed off. The subjudice reason being often quoted by IBA and second fiddle done by Associations

I have been waiting for the past 29 years for up-dation. What sin had I  done to AIBEA?  I was  a stalwart in AIBEA. How hard-hearted are these people now ?    I could not digest. I remember  the strike days during Morarji Desai's  period  during 1978  when bankmen were branded as "High wage islands."  Will these people do something at least this time? at the fag end of my life and other pensioners life me?

Sir,   

One has done any sin.  We are lucky we are getting pension- which was not dreamt when we joined the bank.   Pension is better than NPS.

Further,  why we are not asking AIBOC ? Their strength is more than AIBEA in UFBU ??

By blaming everyone and cursing ourselves - pension improvement will not happen.

Since joining in 1978 i was in AIBEA. On promotion to scale 1 I joined to AIBOA.
But same AIBEA  cheated me by blocking my updation.
I feel ashsmed myself for following aibea. 😩😩

AIBOC is there just to collect subscriptions from  PSU bank employees to mint money. AIBOC presented its  EX-general secretary Rs.1 crore. Whose money it is. It is paid out of subscription  by Pre 2002 retirees who served the union. But AIBOC never worked in the interests of pre 2002 retirees.

AIBOC is for SBI employees only.

When DFS appointed a committee  to look into 50% pension for SBI retirees, AIBOC sought appointment of DFS officials and presented detailed representation which enabled the committee members to take a positive view. DFS  referred the issue of updation also to the said committee. But  AIBOC once achieved its object of getting substantial arrears  in 50% pension restoration to SBI pensioners, did not evince any interest in updation.

AIBOC in any BPS meeting did not take up the issue of updation  with IBA except suggesting appointment of 2 3 4 actuaries often. AIBOC is using PSU bank employees for minting money.

Somashekarji - rightly said.   In SBI Report, it was stated that PSB employees have never asked for the thrid benefit...  AIBPARC /AIBOC didnot contest that statement.  PSB pensioners have become second class pensioners.  There should parity among all pensioners of Public sector banks including SBI as far as terminal benefits are concerned.
