Sir, kindly inform or clarify any development in case of Resignee Pension option those who have completed more than twenty five years. We need to have the support of UFBU FOR  taking up the pension issue of resignee/other leftout categories. Further I would point out that I have seen latest all the union circulars , all association circulars and ufbu circulars are stating that regarding pension related demands only like 100% D.A. for pre Nov"2002 pensioners, periodical updation, family pension formula etc., except PENSION ISSUE RESIGNESS/LEFTOUT CATEGORIES .WHY? It is now right time to approach to IBA/GOVERNMENT  AND TO GET PENSION BENEFIT TO RESIGNEES.Number of resignees are only resigned due to medical grounds.

Dear Thirumalaisamy,
Yes,it is unfortunate that secondtion for left over categories is not taken care of in any of the circulars. It is the right time for the leaders of the left over categories to approach IBA/UFBU and prevail upon them to do full justice to this category who did not get justice in spite of written commitment in 9 th BPS.

what all in my mind about the recent statements by our organisations which had conveniently forgotten about our second option pension- for we resignees and the other left overs, have been clearly reflected in our Somasekara's letter. we are truly disappointed and afraid that we have to look for the settlements of the next biparties. of course we will be as usual wait patiently and watch, about which thing we are now accustomed.I am now 62,half of my age ie 31 was my bank service. Will I be living that much years to get my pension? writing with heavy heart and at this hour I can not refrain from thinking about the ordeals we underwent through for the previous settlements in our banking days. of course we tasted success and reaped the due harvest. we are now just praying for good things to happen. That is the only thing we can do and we will do.

Dear Raghu athan,
In case of Resignees, the main problem comes from managements of Private sector banks. That is why IBA has not taken up the case for PSU officers also unfortunately. The private sector (weak) banks are creating all hurdles in BPS process whereas UFBU is against bankwise settlements.
Unless this puzzle is properly solved ,majority of the bank employees and pensioners suffer with lower compensation.Conspicuously SBI employees are getting more than BPS benefits but not the case with other Bank employees. It is better govt allows other banks also to give suitable competitive compensation to the employees over and above bi partite benefits since only minimum benefits are negotiated in BPS in view of objections of weak banks.

Dear friends
In the recently formed subcommittees none of the committee is looking for the retired staff problem. What any retired or resigned can expect from the pending settlement.

The recent order of the ministry of Financial services regarding non interference of the ministry in day to day affairs  interalia states that there should be a grievance redressal mechanism in each of the PSBs.So far as I coud see there is no such machanism in any of the Banls looking after the interest of insioners. It is for the IBA to clarify the position. It would be useful if the pensioners organisations take up the matter with IBA, and the DFS for orgaanising a suitable procedure for redressal of grievances, of pensioners.

Dear Friends

It is not true that the issue of 2nd option for pension to leftover/resigned categories are not taken up by anybody. ALL INDIA BANK PENSIONERS &  RETIREES CONFEDERATION (AIBPARC) in which ABROA-unit SBT is also an affiliate has already taken up these issues.

It is a welcome news that AIBPARC has taken up the issue. The first issue of the retirees is the fact that every person who left the bank on various times-(retirement/VRS/Resignation etc)-should be able to receive pension.
