Dr Kini had been to our office yesterday and told us about he discussion you had with regards to the cost involved for a South America trip, and that now you are looking at the below options for August 2016.

1) Self Drive Iceland (6 Days) + Self Drive Poland (08 Days)
2) Self Drive Iceland (6 Days) + Self Drive Romania and Bulgaria (08 Days)

We have started working on this and shall get back to you at the earliest.

Forgot to mention:

1) In case you are taking only Peru, the routing will be Bangalore - Paris - Lima - Paris - Bangalore on Air France, and on return you will have an overnight stay in Paris as neither Air France to Bangalore nor KLM to New Delhi connect on the same day. We have factored in the cost for the Schengen transit visa in this.

2) In case you are taking Peru + Iguazu Falls from Both Sides + Rio, main sector will be Bangalore - Paris - Lima // Rio de Janeiro - Paris - Bangalore with immediate connection on the return sector. We have also factor in the cost for the domestic return tickets to Mumbai for the Argentina visa interview.

Awaiting you revert at the earliest.

2) Peru with Iguazu and Rio: Approx. INR 7,70,000/- per person incl. Iguazu Falls from both sides (Argentina and Brazil)
3) Adding Puno+Lake Titicaca will cost approx. INR 33,400/- per person additional for 02 nights

Kindly note, again all are estimates, and we need to re-work the exact costing based on the option you decide. As of now, they are kind of on the higher side we feel.

We have worked out an approximate quotation, and it is working out to approx. INR 9,19,000/- per person with or without trek.

This quotation includes:
Airfares (main sector and internal sectors)
Accommmodation at Hotels on Bed & Breakfast Basis incl. Both Amazon River and Galapagos Cruise with All Meals
Trekking and Camping (for those who are doing the trek) on Private Basis
Transfers, Transportation and Sightseeing with Guides on Private Basis
Visas,Insurances, Galapagos Permits and All Taxes

Kindly note, this is a bit on the higher side. However, once you confirm the itinerary, we can negotiate and work on a better price.

As of now, the accommodation will be at the below hotels in standard rooms. Difference of hardly INR 6,000 - 8,000 per person between 3* and 4* hotels for the entire itinerary.

All the below accommodations are carefully reviewed and suggested. These are tentative hotel details.



Sacred Valley: Sonesta Posada del Inca Yucay (http://www.sonesta.com/sacredvalley)

Aguas Calientes: El Mapi by Inkaterra (http://www.inkaterra.com/byinkaterra/el-mapi-hotel/)




Galapagos Cruise: Treasure of Galapagos Catamaran (http://www.treasureofgalapagos.com/) - Need to check for a better one if possible upon confirmation of the plan

For those who will do the trek, we have attached images where you can see the type of tents, mattresses included.

After doing Machu Picchu, the entire group has an option to return back to Cusco by the legendary luxury Hiram Bingham Train (Please refer the link: http://www.belmond.com/hiram-bingham-train/), for which the additional cost will be approx. INR 37,000/- per person.

NOTE: Rate for US$ has increased by almost INR 1.50/- per US$ since the last week, hence the cost has also increased. Cost will be calculated accordingly depending on the ROE for US$ at that particular time.

As discussed with you yesterday afternoon, please find attached the revised documents. We have made it more generic in terms of dates as we will be changing it to late June/early July.

Important Points:

1) As of now, we have given you itinerary based on Lares Trek which is not very crowded (2 nights camping + 2 1/2 days trekking)

2) In case you need 3 nights camping + 3 full days trekking, you need to opt for Classic Inca Trail Trek which is more crowded

3) For Sun Trail Trek (attached) you will need 2 extra nights. It is possible for the trekking group to arrive 2 days earlier to do 2 extra days of trekking, however, the trek needs to start immediately

4) Second option is that the entire group arrives together into Peru. The trekking group will do Sun Trail Trek which is totally 02 nights extra compared to Lares / Classic Inca Trail Trek, while the non-trekking group visits Puno/Lake Titicata before arriving in Cusco for Machu Picchu
