I am pleased to announce that last weeks BCFC ‘Kids in for FREE / FREE draw’ was a total success. Over 700 spectators filled Farrar Road last Saturday and over 300 Children took advantage of the promotion’s Free entry and chance to win one of many prizes in our Free draw. The winner of the star prize, a Nintendo wii was Callum Taylor of Ysgol Friars. A big congratulations to Callum and all the other prize winners. Lets hope that many of those Children an parents now attend Farrar Road regularly and become City die hard’s. It was such a delight to see so many smiling faces at the match, and all the hard work done by the Association’s volunteers to make the day a huge success was well worth the effort.

We would like to thank the main sponsor of the promotion, ‘Bangor Roofing’, All Schools who handed out the tickets, and everyone else who assisted prior to the event and one the day, Thank You !.

Pictured presenting the star prize to lucky winner Callum Taylor is the promotion organiser Vicky O’Reilly, Kenny Roberts and Hayden of Bangor Roofing.

On Sunday 2nd November BCFCSA members Geraint Jones, Carl Powell and Dave Williams ran the Abergele 5 mile road race in aid of the BCFCSA. Over £300 was raised by sponsors paying a pound to guess the combined finishing time of the three.

The nearest estimate was 1.45.20 from Farrar Road Regular (pictured) Chris Jones of Penrhosgarnedd and he wins the £50 prize outright. Congratulations Chris.

Look out for more of our sponsored events with a chance to win cash prizes soon.

The Bangor City Football Club Academy received a surprise donation of £500 recently. The donation came following an application I made to the Royal Mail Sport’s Foundation who donates funds to local youth sporting Clubs. Pictured is myself donating the cheque to the Clubs Academy director Ioan Llewellyn .

We will soon be organising the popular BCFC Mid season draw. All members will receive a book of tickets to sell. For just £1 you will be in with a chance of winning one of many prizes which are yet to be announced.

We hold regular monthly meetings at the Boardroom, Farrar Road. They are held on the first Thursday of every month. Please make an effort to attend our meetings.

For any BCFCSA related enquiries please ring me on 07944694801. Thank you and Keep the faith !.
