Really we should appreciate your initiation to create PMI Bangladesh Chapter. You will be happy to know that now PMP is a recognized professional degree in Bangladesh and lots of professional working in project management have keen interest on to become PMP. We the steering committee members now working on some legal issues in Bangladesh and hope the chapter will officially inaugurate in Q3/Q4 this year. Thanks again for your special contribution to create this chapter. I'll never forget the way you help us on those days specially using your credit card we more then twenty person get registered as PMI members, this is the first step to make the dream true.

 

In below mail you have informed about ISSA chapter. I can assist you to create the chapter of ISSA and make some interest group here. Hope like PMI chapter we could also create ISSA chapter to serve our motherland.

In Bangladesh we should make an ISSA chapter (Information Systems Security Association) as this meetings invitation will show you how   Information Systems Security Association is active worldwide.
 
After my initiation of creating Bangladesh PMI Chapter this is my next goal to create a Information Systems Security Association chapter in Bangladesh. If we need to go forward in IT field, we need to go with the flow. Hope our Information Systems Security Professionals will understand the need for this.

Biography for Ed Gibson
At PricewaterhouseCoop ers, Gibson’s focus is on helping organizations address serious issues involving the prevention, investigation, and mitigation of, and recovery from,  economic espionage, insider fraud, complex money laundering, cyber attacks, and intellectual property theft. He will service a wide range of clients in matters of security breach investigation, data protection, and overall business risk management strategies.  

Prior to PwC, Gibson was the Chief cyber Security Advisor, and senior corporate spokesperson, risk advisor, and point of contact in the United Kingdom for Microsoft Ltd on all matters related to the conduct of business online, information risk management, online data protection strategy, and prevention and mitigation of online attacks by miscreants, organized crime, and Nation-States. In addition, he was a trusted advisor to Members of Parliament and Government agency officials due to trust developed while a member of the FBI”s Office of Legal Attaché, American Embassy London.
 

As an FBI Assistant Legal Attaché (Diplomat), American Embassy London, pre/post 9/11, Gibson was primarily responsible for all FBI cyber / online related investigations involving matters such as international cyber terrorism, blackmail, extortion, kidnapping, theft of intellectual property right and PII, and crimes against children investigations across international boundaries.  Additionally, he was a trusted advisor to UK Members of Parliament (House of Commons / House of Lords), Palace at Westminster, senior government representatives, law enforcement and security services, and prosecuting agencies on all matters related to the cyber / online environment.
 
 
As a lawyer in the U.S. and Solicitor in the U.K., Gibson was often called upon to explain to Embassy staff, UK and US law enforcement personnel, and others the differences in laws - U.S. v U.K. (European Union) - impacting extraterritorial investigations, use of MLATs and Letters Rogatory, search and seizure, fraud, extraditions, prevention and mitigation of criminal cyber attacks, and obtaining information in civil and criminal cyber inquiries.    
As a career FBI Special Agent, Gibson was a recognized leader in complex money laundering investigations, asset identification / confiscation / disposal; multi-national, White Collar Crime / Health Care / Intellectual Property Rights, Economic Espionage, and search & seizure.


Gibson is a lawyer in the U.S.,  a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
