The background on
the project is given below.
The British Council is an international organisation
working to promote educational opportunities and cultural relations for the
people of the UK
and other countries. It conceptualised and organised a reality TV show in Sri
Lanka called ‘IDEATORS’ to promote entrepreneurship for youth among
aspiring Sri Lankan and UK participants. The participants have to survive a
series of real-life business challenges testing their innovation, creativity
and entrepreneurship skills. The show has successfully completed 3 seasons in
Sri Lanka
and was watched by millions of TV viewers.
The British Council is looking at expanding the TV
show to other countries in South Asia, namely Bangladesh ,
India and
Pakistan . KPMG is currently working
with the British Council on the regional expansion strategy of the show. As a
part of this study, we aim to understand the preferences of students and
viewers with regard to entertainment and their interest in viewing reality TV
shows.
Please assist British Council in carrying out this study by
filling up the survey (approx. time complete: 3 minutes).
Best Regards.
