Long press event on button

Hi All,
Am creating a phone application for PocketPC using eVC++ 4.0 .
and i have a button in the GUI.
that button's functionality  is to print some 'X' character when
single click and print 'Y' when held for a long time.
but am not getting any separate event for holding the button for lets
say 2 secs.
Could anyone plz help me in this case.
i wanted to how to capture the Long press event on the button (what is
the event).
or any help how  to handle this case.

Hi,

One approach is, in the key-down event start your own timer and key-up event Stop & check the time.  Based on the time difference you decide what you want to do.
