Technical Discussions to be carried out at http://flex-india.org

hi all,
i would again make a sincere request to all the members of our
community to hold out technical discussions on to the http://flex-india.org
community and would like to highlight certain points here :-

1. Our focus is to create a one huge archive of all the technical
queries so as to make the search easily for the newbies instead of
creating islands of information spread across, this way it also helps
people who moderate the list and helps us to segregate the technical
discussions from the general discussions.
2. Theres a huge no of people who want to contribute and are
enthusiasts of the technology - as we have a huge no people in
bangalore - so that is one of the reason we have created a group of
people who are from bangalore and are technology enthusiast.
3.The sole aim of the list is to discuss user group related activites,
upcoming meets/events and all other related discussion.
4. There are various advantages of keeping the technical discussions
on flex-india as mrinal said and i qoute

<http://flex-india.org>and hence feel that we should continue to use
Flex India as out technical
discussion list, the new mailing list will only serve the purpose of
discussing user group related activities like meeting events etc.
Using Flex
India as the only list for technical discussions has a lot of
advantages,
some of which are ...

- It avoids the segmentation of our rapidly growing community
- All information for new users is archived at one place
- We will have all expert knowledge concentrated at one place
- As a big group we will have more visibility internationally
- etc
"
5. lastly i would request people around who are part of bangaloreFx
group and not part of flex-india and they want to discuss their
technical queries - please go ahead and join flex-india and carry out
your discussions there.

6. Sometimes its really hard for one of the moderators to decide
whether we should go ahead and approve a post that is technical in
nature - that actually leads to the creation of a pipeline of the
posts and thus people who have created the post see their post
appearing very late.

Everyone, please please please keep technical discussions to http://flex-india.org ... there are several reasons as Saurabh has described .. the most important one being that keeping all the discussions on Flex India creates this huge archive of knowledge at one place that learners can refer.
