The fate of about 37 candidates who contested the Bangalore Central
Loksabha seat is in the strongroom of Mount Carmel College. True to
the story of the cats and monkey, where in the cats fought among
themselves and the monkey walked away with the bread, this is what is
going to happen here.
The pride and overconfidence of one man is going to be his own
downfall. Sangliana the Congress candidate is going to bite the dust
and the BJP candidate is going to have the last laugh, scampering
across the victory line.
The counting can be tracked online at
www.eci.gov.in on Saturday May
16,2009. There should be a clear trend available by 9 AM and the
Results will be out by 11:00
We love the Congress party, but it forced an unacceptable candidate
over us. We voters are not fools. This verdict is not a vote for BJP
but a rejection of the Congress candidate.
The overall national scenario is going to throw a hung parliament. It
would ultimately mean a rejection of the UPA rule. The Congress party
should respect the verdict of the people and sit in the opposition.
Rahul should show his magnanimity by refusing the Prime Minister's
chair. He will earn great respect of the masses by doing so.
It should not make up numbers with any coalition, because each party
will ask for its pound of flesh and managing a hotch potch coalition
is a herculean task.
The Congress should leave all this headache to the NDA which will
ultimately collapse on its own and we will have a re-election in less
than 2 years.
The voters will then prefer the Congress party and give it a
overwhelming majority to rule.
Having achieved the purpose of this group, we the Bangalore voters
thank all the members who have contributed to a meaningful sharing.
Especially Benji, Paul, Arul, Viki, and all. It has been great
knowing you guys. We have poured our hearts out and had a good

We hold no prejudice against anyone and signing off with the anonymous
