Folks,

Where can I buy an Arduino board? Is there an online portal for this
(in India)?. I am looking out for a board with USB and Bluetooth
support.

Thanks,
Cherian

Search for Indian distributors in this link http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Buy

I guess there are around 4-5 sites.

Also try it SP Road. (I have bought other components there, but I am not sure if Arduino is available though)

http://www.tenettech.com/ seems to be costly too. Also it does not have a Bluetooth, serial/usb ports.

hi Cherian,

In Bangalore only tenet tech will be able to give to sparkfun original usb board with ATmega328 at ~1400-1500. i am not sure if they stop selling arduinos, call them and check.

If you go for other sources, either you will get it costlier or maybe arduino clone. (quality will not be same, you may save 200-300).

other source
SP road, you can get it from NSK electronics (oppsite to vishal electronics, inside a street). i am not sure if he sells original arduino(sparkfun) or similar one. don't forgot to check the micro-controller which you are getting with your board.

OM electronics, they sell original board, but at a very high price. (2200-2300 for USB). nut they are cheap and best if you want board with serial interface.

there are few websites where you can order arduino. i will suggest go for arduino board of sparkfun.

if you want Arduino clone there are many websites.
http://www.embeddedmarket.com (buy from ebay rather then this)

and the best one http://www.ebay.in

I hope the information is helpful to you and others who are interested in buying Arduino.
Enjoy Arduinoing.
