Job Responsibilities
Establishing relationships with brands (retain, national, international) and advertising agencies.
Generating new leads, strategically developing digital media solutions to suit client business objectives.
Generating new sales and reaching the company's sales targets
Working with management to develop effective sales strategies for revenue growth
Staying ahead of the curve on marketplace trends
Understanding of digital market/sales with good agency/client and publisher contacts
Identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts by up-selling and cross-selling
Taking a lead in clients digital marketing and advertising strategies
Establishing budgets with the client and company
Arranging meetings and liaising with clients to understand their requirements
Quality control of all work that is submitted to clients
Disclosing campaign details to the client and all team members
Monitoring all stages of campaigns to guarantee that they run smoothly
Writing status reports throughout the duration of the project to keep clients and peers updated
Ensuring that the project stays within the allocated budget
Administration tasks that will help to keep campaigns well-managed and organised
Offering creative ideas to develop exciting campaigns and encourage clients to understand the importance of creativity throughout projects.
Skills Required
The candidate needs to have a wide range of abilities. These include:
Rich experience in all round digital marketing sales
Ability to build working relationship with direct clients that will translate into long term business.
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Significant experience in professional client relationship management
Ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
Keen attention to detail and budgetary considerations
First class organisational skills
Full awareness of creative processes and techniques mainly digital platforms
Should be dynamic, a go-getter with ability to create business opportunities in the market
A personable and professional character that will allow him/her to build client rapport
Most importantly, a proven sales record in digital marketing
On the whole, this is predominantly an outside sales role and he/she will spend time in meetings and briefings, as well as remaining in close contact with key clients. Domestic travel is usually required for client visits, new business presentations, planning and brief taking. Although his/her commitment will tend to be standard office hours, deadlines or the demands of a client may see him/her working early or late to ensure continued success.
