Dear Start-up Community Members & Friends

Five minutes of your time now will help us save the hassle at the venue and also help us organize the logistics better.

Your registration will also help us give the exact information to the security at the venue, it will also reduce the drop outs and unexpected participants at a large number, just at the end (both are difficult to handle at times). The meet details / agenda is also detailed in the trailing email.

We very much appreciate the form that many of you have filled already (http://bit.ly/OCCBangalore_June2011and we will be sending your interesting questions in advance to all the speakers: Thinkvidya, Deghumake, Microsoft and txtWeb. Other are welcome to use the form to send questions and comments in advance.

Thanks!

Best Regards
Amarinder

Dear Start-up Community Members & Friends

Once again we are trying something different in the upcoming OCC Meet and its Jam Packed in terms of proceedings (multi-track, which maybe we are doing for the first time). Here is the agenda:

Start-up Story with a Difference #1: How & Why - Two Bangalore based start-ups 3pundits.com (Rakesh Kalra) and Teacherji.in  (Santosh Kevlani) joined hands to make a bigger, better and a broader platform, called ThinkVidya.com in the learning and education space. The new platform carries all the features that these two websites were offering but will cater to larger audience set.  ThinkVidya.com has clear segmentation that covers learning needs for children, youngsters as well as adults.

Start-up Story with a Difference #2: How do you do a start-up in 4 days of which first life is just 20 - 30 days maximum. Here is the live example: http://deghumake.com/ (Were those the most mad 4 days or the most intelligent, huh!) Raghu and Girish who are already progressing in their start-up http://recruiterbox.com/ took a dive and did a De Ghuma Ke. Wanna catch?

Start-up Support #1: Girish Joshi (Emerging Business and Mobile Lead at Microsoft India) will share about how is Microsoft helping start-ups and  innovation in India in very tangible steps. We are thankful to Microsoft for hosting this meet and few of our previous  meets.

Start-up Support #2: Learn more on App2Fame Developer Challenge 2011 (http://www.txtweb.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=294&Itemid=99) from the txtWeb team. For publishers and developers, txtWeb is one of the fastest platforms to make content and services available to billions. Deploying existing content via a txtWeb site takes only 5 minutes. Creating and deploying an SMS-based app on txtWeb usually takes about 5 hours.
