Where there any indications at recent #blrgtug on when 'Google Apps Script' would open again?

I just finished checking out the timeline for #blrgtug to find out
what stuff happened at the meet that I had to miss.
New thing I discovered - 'google app scripts' (did not know about them
until now :P). However, one cannot create scripts until they get into
the "trusted testers" program here -

which currently is closed.
