Career Position: Web and Mobile Application Developer
Following is a description of what your work life at East Agile India will be like, if you get accepted as an employee.

Most of the time you will work normal hours with Vietnamese and American colleagues in our Bangalore office. At other times you may need to work at odd hours to discuss your work with colleagues around the world. Work is intense, but relaxed. The environment in the office is fun and informal, and the work hours are limited so you can stay sharp, get lots of rest and have a life outside of work (like blogging about technology).

Following is a profile of a successful job candidate.

You want to work closely with other top programmers in Viet Nam and the USA. You want to become one of the best Web developers in the World. You want to work in an Agile programming environment (see http://www.extremeprogramming.org/) and learn Ruby on Rails to develop world-class applications for the web and for mobile devices.

You will work closely with top programmers from Silicon Valley and Viet Nam interactively on the same code, speaking in English while interactively adding tests and features and refactoring your work. Those other programmers had better be good if they are going to keep up with you! You work fast. You might be a game programmer. You like working with other people and do not need to work alone. You know that your English verbal communications skills are more than adequate for technical work. You have probably spent time working closely with English speakers in the past.

You have an intuitive understanding of object oriented programming and can develop applications rapidly. You already know an object oriented programming language very well, and if you don't know Ruby on Rails, you are sure you can learn it, like any language, in a few weeks. Refactoring and test based development are familiar concepts.

You work hard and play hard like all East Agile employees. Fun times include a lot more than the usual birthday parties in conference rooms.
