Agile India 2013 is going to run from 27th Feb till 2nd March, where as Barcamp 2013 is scheduled on 2nd March.

Is there any chance to postpone Barcamp ? I feel the participants will be divided between 2 events and as whole we won't get best out of it.

Regards,
Amiruddin Nagri

BCB13 was announced almost 2 months back and its definitely not possible to change the dates now

But yeah Bangalore being such a happening city, there are actually many other events happening on the same day, some of which were announced as late as last week. So I guess folks have to make some compromises and can choose to attend those which appeals to them most.

Thanks,
Saurabh

Perhaps more groups should start using http://www.meetup.com/

Look at March 2nd

There you see that only MongoDB has a scheduled event.

Shame on both BCB and Agile India!

Meetup is kind of expensive to use to announce meetings, isn't it?  I suppose if several chipped in a few rupees, it would be cheap, though.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Oh! Sorry, I didn't realize there was a charge. :-(

US$144 per year! Now I'm impressed that our local JUG uses meetup! http://www.meetup.com/BangaloreOpenJUG/

Most meetup groups tend to have sponsors. $12/month turns out to be ok.
