Subject: Release of XSPARSH on Android.
We are happy to inform, that we have arranged to upload XSparsh version 3 in the android playstore. We are also in the process of having the same uploaded in iTunes store.
The two significant features added in this version, relates to
a) Updating of stocks & day's receipts at ROs, by the Dealers, before close of the day and
b) TT/Invoice Acnowledgement.
In a months time we target to use this data, being input by Dealers to have Stock cum Open Indent report's available through CMS, as well as Auto Indenting for non- Automated ROs as well.
You may please advise field force to advice the Dealers to update to this new version. You may also note that Stock updation will also be on the WEB through eLedger.
Steps are on to have this mobile version available for iOS & Windows platforms.

பொருள்: Safety Inspection guidelines - Discussions at Amritsar
This is in reference to our discussions at Amritsar on 21.11.2015.
The guidelines issued on Safety Inspections vide our mail dated 01.05.2013 are placed below. Considering the work load on the Field Officer, It was clarified that Safety Inspections can also be carried out by any Officer of DO or State Office in order to cover all the ROs once a year.
While on the subject, it may be mentioned that the Electrical Points in the Safety Inspection are covered under Electrical Audit (Refer : OISD 225 guidelines). Hence, while conducting the Safety Inspection, the Electrical Audit Report undertaken for the RO may be referred.

Subject: Apex Safety Council Meeting - Safety Inspection guidelines
In the Apex Safety Council Meeting held at HO on 11.03.2013, the issue of Safety Inspections at ROs was deliberated and it was firmed up as under :
a. Safety inspection of all ROs to be done once a year.
b. Person carrying out safety inspection shall be responsible for looking into all Safety aspects.
c. The Divisional Retail Sales Head shall be responsible for :
i. Ensuring 100% Safety Inspection of all ROs in his jurisdiction.
ii. Monitoring and ensuring of the compliances of inspection points.
The inspection can be carried out either by FO or any officer of DO / State Office to cover all the ROs. The monthly report on the same may be sent by 7th of the following month.
The format for Safety Inspection (Format No SEP-HO-06) which is uploaded in Safety Intranet site (attached in the mail) needs to be followed.
