Maiden Coimbatore brevet 200km (back to school) ride report

Hi Friends,

My maiden 200k brevet today in Coimbatore (it is maiden brevet in Coimbatore cycling group as well). Very well organised event by Coimbatore cycling group (Deepak Samuel and others). Scotching sun during the afternoon. Mostly rolling terrain.

Got the company of Sundar raj (part of Chennai cycling group) during return ride, and he helped me for entire return stretch with lots of inputs.. Glad to get his company today.

Total time: 11hrs48mins
Total ride time: 10hrs9mins
Total distance: 203.8km
Split: 100k @4hrs40mins, 200k @9hrs58mins
Bike: TREK 3700 with MtB slick tyres
Had a flat near 165km mark and had to change the tube

Special thanks to Anil Kadsur and Chethan ram and other BBC group members for their inputs and motivation to me to attempt brevet.

Thanks Doctor. Coimbatore brevet.. mainly due to logistics reason.. was visiting home town and family taken care..

I was thinking about bangalore brevet next week but didn't want to attempt night brevet first time.
