Hi all,

One of my friend is planning to go for an MTB, viz., Merida (Sub 40V)
or a Trek (4300), but recently he visited a Firefox showroom & saw FF
RoadPro 2200 & thought about that (initially he was planning to go for
a road bike, but because of roadbike's high pricing he dropp'd). Now
he has managed to increase the budget & thinking about RoadPro.

In other threads, I read that FF's bikes & after service's are not
upto mark, but, as a bike, is RoadPro a good pick & VFM.
Your views will be definitely given a thought befo buying.

Hi Rushi,

Thanks for the link dude, but his budget is fixed at 23K., not able
extend beyond that. So, reviews on FF will be helpful

I only have a 'qualitative' review. Never rode this one, but I wasn't
impressed when I saw it in the shop. I'd save up for a few more months
and buy the Merida or Trek stuff.

We can argue about the components and whatever till cows come home,
but that Firefox road bike just didn't 'feel right' to me. And after
after witnessing one bizarre weirdness going down Nandi Hills last
weekend (that was a FF MTB), I won't put my butt on a Firefox until
something changes drastically at their end.

the road pro is not the best of bikes .. but then its the cheapest road bike at 23K ..
Unless you want to pick up teh ROadPro 0050 which is Rs 14,620.

The only issue I had with the bike was a bad wheel set - we have complained ot the company and I hope they have rectified the issue !
But yeah .. if you can spring for it .. the Trek and the Meridas are phenomenally better :)
