if so wher do you park your cycles and how safe is it.
one security guy there say there is a free parking and it is up to your risk.

Pradeep,

I commute to ITPL regularly. There are 2 available parkings locations. One is free but open, and yes, its at your risk. That said, there are always a couple of security guards there, so its unlikely someone will try to steal some components. I've been parking my hero hawk here, and there has never been an issue (though its not exactly an eye-catcher!). There is also a paid parking space in the basement. I'm not sure about safety there, but will check it out and let you know.

Cheers,
Namit

Hi Namit,
I had lost my Hero bike around 3 years ago from the open cycle parking
area.
So, i would suggest against that!

Pradeep,

Based on this, I suggest you go with the paid parking. I'm not sure about the person you need to contact, but its basically the same as those who you contact for car/bike parking permits. Check with your office staff. I plan to shift to the paid parking as well.

Funny thing is - this parking for cycles is part of ITPL's eco initiative, yet you pay 200/- per month to park cycles!

Then you all guys from ITPL take up the issue with the concerned authorities, I am sure they will make changes.

Thanks

I'll second the parking inside idea. Rs. 200 is def worth it.

My bike was parked in the outside lot for a week till I got wiser.
Wiser, and hopping mad - someone stole the headlamp and (not kidding)
the bicycle grips. So, my Trek 4300 looks kind of skeletal without
bike grips these days :-) .. have to pick replacements soon
