I am planning to close in getting my bike this month and need your
inputs on Jayanth cycles in Jayanagar. He sells Firefox, Fomas, etc.
Just want to know if his inputs are reliable, the costing and post
sales service.

Unless there is a life threatening need.. do not go to Jayanth
cycles@Jayanagar. They are a bunch of crooks. I had bought my
Trek6000 @Jayant and do not repent for this purchase. However the
spares there are bloody markedup. During my initial days I bought a
spare tube (bontrager) paying 600Rs, while it was <250Rs everywhere
else (realized later). I have heard similar stories from few of the
fellow riders. Also the service is no where close to BOTS or
TrackNTrail.

Never mind.
GoGreen for a better tomorrow GoCycling..
My personal interaction at Jayant cycles in Jayagar has been bad. The
guy there is unscrupulous,
quotes by seeing how much he can fleece you. I suggest check Firefox and
Fomas prices at other dealers too, before you decide..

Apart from BOTS and T&T, talk to Decathlon or RR Cycles in Madivala (I
think they are one of Decathlon's retailers).

Ray, any time you would like to explore the roads out North let me
know, Darren Ried (Ozzy pro cyclist) and I train on a beautiful road
up here every morning, will be happy to have you join us some time :)
Good luck with the tubes

Try RR Cycles, Ulsoor. That would probably be closest.
The Firefox shop on CMH road closed down some time back due to metro
construction.
