Hi, I need advice to buy a ladies cycle.
Idea is to commute from kundanahalli to itpl everyday. Could you please suggest a good cycle between 5 to 7 thousand. Also, please advise if gear cycle is better or non gear is better. I will use cycle only to commute to office and do not plan for any long rides.

Check out Mach City iBike (http://machcity.com/). Seems to be decent for the price you're looking for.

I second Ravi on the Btwin rockrider 5.0 lady suggestion. Is a very good commuter.

Thanks,
Ram

Usually can treat most bikes as unisex unless you are particular. Depending on the height of the person you could check for clearance. The women specific designs might have less top tube distance and narrow handle bar for women. The saddles might be different also but most adjustments you can make on any bike.

The good thing is the sizes are available 13", 13.5", 14", etc. So just get the right size in any bike she likes! :-)

The budget usually works better if you figure resale value and such. Typically a bike less than 20k would have several comprises.

My 2c,
Mynk
