GPS MAP in Bangalore

Just wanted to check will the GPS Road map in our Phone really work to find out road direction  in Bangalore Roads ?

 

 I am using E 72 Phone. Any one tried to ride using GPS Road  in Bangalore ?

Depends on what maps you're using. The garmin mobile xt maps i use on my n85 are pretty accurate.

Hi Roshan,

I have a nokia X6 and used Nokia maps and comfortable with it. But i
find sygic map my india software to be more descriptive, detailed
compared to OVI maps.

I have an android and I bought sygic maps 2 months back. It just rocks! I use it everytime I need to find a location in bangalore...

Please have a look at this . I have Android and Garmin. Prefer Garmin for Battery life. Android phone drains in 5 hrs. Android phone offers lot of Sync features ( Google Docs, Fusion table, Maps ) and also helps to track your training routine.

i have started using Endomondo, and m finding it pretty useful.. i can add my workouts by myself if i have forgotten to use the app while working out..
but still, the GPS quality varies location to location and phone's GPS is not gr8 when the phone is in pocket..
so trying to figure out what may be better..

Garmin watches are nice, but cost a lot and arent available in india too :( 
any other suggestions...

Has someone tried the community GPS http://www.waze.com/download/ ? Looks good by first look.

It is also an amazing android application... It gets better with more people using it often :-) I use it all the time...
