Can you fill in the below spreadsheet? Can be of great help in
identifying active cyclists in various zones. This could also be a
chance to see how many are actually aware of various events organized
by Bangalore Cycling community.

Please circulate this with your friends who are not aware of BBC/BZ

Awesome response guys.

Kaushal Bhandankar volunteered to create google forms and accumulate
the data in an excel sheet. Like wise we can keep the contact details
hidden.
AS OF NOW, I HAVE BLOCKED THE PAGE FOR SOMETIME TO FOR THE CHANGES.

I am not clear how this list will be used? Will you be sending event details to everyone on the spread sheet? Wouldnt it be simpler to just post it on the mailing list. Those who are not on the list can be asked to join the group rather than collecting email and phone information..

Okay,

So here we go... AGAIN!

Why are we doing this: Because Hopefully to get more stats (maybe by
requesting for more info) to help inspire more bikers. We currently
have basic info on bike-commuters etc when we go for bike workshops at
companies. It would be awesome if we can state that 500 bikers on BBC
commute to work with graphs on time taken, commute distances and a HRM
graph :) Also to spread awareness about various community events.
remember those questions asking what is BBCh?
Any other better non-spam ideas on how we can use this info ?

Now the below form contains many fields which you can fill. These will
be saved in a spreadsheet which is NOT public. The same data can be
used as and when required. If anyone wants the same, we can share,
excluding the contact details.

113 bikers have filled the details. Here are some interesting stats!
1. 71 of them commute to work daily/once in while.
2. 10 were not aware of BBCh.
3. 7 were not aware of Bangalore Brevets.
4. 66 say that they can help in community events as per their
convenience.

I am expecting more guys to come up with their feedback. Suggestions

To the biker, with a name "blah" and email id as "bl...@blah.bl" and
riding a bike "blahmobile" with regard to your comment as "Why can't
one view the spreadsheet before having to sacrifice firstborn?"

I dont think it is a wise idea to share bikers email ids in public. If
you know a way of this getting done, I request you to come forward and
help us in getting it sorted.
