Planning on doing a ride on this route tomorrow -- Doddanekkundi - Varthur - Dommasandra - Bagalur - Malur - Kolar - Hoskote - Doddanekkundi. About ~140kms. Route map --

Let me know if anyone is interested, Planning on starting at 0630hrs. I'll be shooting to average 15kmph (bit more if everything goes smoothly; hopefully not less).
Other than the Doddanekkundi - Varthur - Dommasandra - Bagalur, stretch, rest is all new to me. If anyone know how the Bagalur - Malur - Kolar stretch is (road condition, mainly; I hope traffic will be light/moderate), that will help to know. And, for afternoon / evening time, if anyone knows how the traffic is on NH4 (Kolar - Hostkote - KR Puram), that will be helpful to know. I hope there are good service lanes / shoulders on that route.

The Bagalur-Malur stretch turns bad as soon as you come back to Karnataka, traffic is light.

I recently did the Malur - Bagalur route, and the roads are good. Traffic is also light, and ok. Not sure of Malur to Kolar.
But from kolar, there are service lanes and roads are also good.
You can either take the left on NH207 or SH35. I felt NH207 is less traffic than the SH35.
