Suggestions for Cycling routes in North Bangalore

Hi all, 

I've restarted cycling after a fairly long gap, and am located in North Bangalore (Jakkur area). Road biking for the timebeing.  

Can folks give me some suggestions for nice ride routes on this side of town? 

Some routes that I have mapped out already are - 

a. Hesaraghatta lake and surrounding area

b. Nandi ride

Right now, I am looking for some beginner to intermediate ride routes (20-50km types) so that I can build up my endurance for the Nandi climb eventually. 

The scenic routes that I've heard about/remember all seem to head south (Machanbele, Turahalli, Bannerghatta) - it would be great if folks could point me to some good routes closer to the North side of town.

Any suggestions would be very helpful.
