Cycle ride to Tirupati/Tirumala

Hi Cyclists,

After going the solo ride to Dharmashtala in Mar 2012, it's been a long time since I did a long ride.

Wanted to participate in the Bangalore Brevet's 400K/600k. Unfortunately was not able to make it as the job interviews got scheduled at the same time.

Now it's time to cycle to Tirupati/Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh about 275Km from Bangalore. Wanna cover the distance in a day(4AM to 8PM max)on Cannodale Trial SL 5 29er.

Have the plans to do in the Month of Aug. Should book the tickets from TTD center(near cauvery theatre)in Bangalore prior to the ride.

And come back by a Volvo bus.

Few other friends too wanted to do this ride, GoGreen had told me.

If anyone wanna join most welcome, shall do a group ride, all the bookings of darshan, stay and bus to be made and the dates shall be decided. Hence posting it in advance.

Riding up the hill allowed? That will be awesome indeed...

Yes ofcourse, riding and down hill would be awesome. I think it is allowed I remember I had seen few local bicycles up hills.
