Aluboo : the bike with aluminum and bamboo frame!

I spotted this bike at a LBS in Livermore, CA. The owner was leaving, but I requested to take these quick pics. It had an aluminum frame with sections of bamboo! Don't know what kind of tires they are, but I must say that this is the fattest I've seen on a bike. The bike is called Fatboy or Fatbike or something.

The widest tire I have seen on a bicycle was in first cycle day in Cubbon park, must be at least 175 mm wide. Anil might have some photos of that.
