bike parking fixture at Lalbagh

hi,

if somebody knows where the bike parking rack outside lalbagh was fabricated, pls provide me with the details of the fabricator. 

info on the cost is also preferred. Plan to replicate this at Wipro. pls share the pics too

The design is so simple. If you wind a wire around a rectangular slab,
with each winding spaced well, that is what the Lalbagh one is.

@ opendro, I have used that one at lalbagh. My idea is to use the same resources to get things done. this fabricator has done a great job. Things can move faster in that case..

Yateesh,

The Fabrication at both Lalbagh and Koshy’s was done by Deepak of
Megh Steels. It is a 10 cycle slot parking per stand costing Rs 24000/
stand(including paint and fixing it at your premises. The colour
choice is left to you. It will be enamel paint. Taxes will be extra.

There were a few other fabrications done by Prabhakar Rao (copied him)
of Go Green which are much cheaper (around 5 K for 10 Bikes ). You can
check with him also, have cc'd him.

One more I recommend you check out is a very innovative stand done by
Rohan Kini (copied him) in BOTS--he has reused wooden planks with the
saddle plonked on the beam and just a triangular base at either end of
the beam, but i dont see why we cant sue the same design with other
materials if it is a public place/theft is a concern.

Yup, we are constantly working on bike storage solutions :) 

Have attached a snap of what we have fabricated for BOTS - simple, costs about 5K to make and you can lock your bike to the metal structure. We had used recycled wood initially, but with the amount of bike movement, we moved over to a sturdier solution.

For safety you can bolt the entire structure into the ground.
