Which would be the best. . .[all 3 are costing around 45k now]

Looks like close competition to me; try riding and see which make u happier and also weigh them the lighter ones win !!!!

KHS 1000 anyday....... have been using it for over 3 yrs now and its still the best in terms of cost and durability

Check all the bikes. See what fits you well. People have different preferences - I love the elongated geometry of Merida while others prefer the compact geometry of other brands. Components and such are usually helpful to compare but what will matter most is your comfort on the bike! :)

i agree with NRPS and Mayank

i think its best to ride each and every bike and decide which feels better.

Then comes the components..

i have been using a scott for the last 8 months or so. havent faced any problems with it whatsoever...
