Bangalore Inner Circle

Hey...guys and gals....

This map covers many major roads and central areas in Bangalore.
right now the total distance comes to around 25 KM approx.

how about using this route for Critical mass?

i am enroute to creating more maps...the next one will be the
Bangalore Outer Circle, which will be out by this weekend.

The next step will be to create more routes so that Critical mass and
biking awareness reaches every nook and corner of Bangalore. and it
would be a good thing to track what all places CM has covered till
now...

Another suggestion would be Also to ride past college or school
entrances/exits when students are being let out into the
freeworld...on the CM evening.

these maps can be used for rallies also (provided you have permission
to run the rally).

Suggestion on the existing map and review on the idea are welcome...:)

map appears and so does the circle.

but the circle seems to be leaning more towards south and east!

no part of west/north are touched. :-(

Hi Pradeep...

i had made the initial version going around ulsoor lake, through
Shivaji nagar, around palace grounds, rajaji nagar...but the distance
went over 40 KM...so created a stripped down version of the circle...

Suggestion taken...

What would be better?
1. One more separate circle concentrating more on the northern and
western parts of Bangalore...
2. modification of the existing circle to accommodate all parts of
Bangalore

I think we have covered south Bangalore almost in all CM's, may be
more or less. Lets turn to South and North this time... what you say?
Rajaji Nagar , Malleshwaram , Mekhri Circle, RT NAgar , Palace grounds
, Ulsoor lake etc....

I would prefer the olympic rings concept.

so essentially we have 5 rings

one for the center of the city one for north one for south and east and west

the north, south, east west touch the center circle.

and in the center of the centre circle is our cubbon park the start point.

So people have opion of going through 2 circles 1 center and 1 their local circle (any one of the n,s e, w)

dude this route doesnt have cubbon park in it!

Ok...OK...there ....fixed it...after the ride everyone can spend
sometime in the smoky flood lights of cubbon park, on the grass and
then break...

That's great idea of spending some time in Cubbon Park after the ride.
But tell you guys, after dark Cubbon park is not safe. Hope you all
know the after dark activities in the park...... have witnessed some.
