Hi All,

My friends and me were planning to cycle this route next Saturday 7th Sept - we were concerned about the road conditions in the stretch between Gunjur Palya and Varthur Lake. I have a proper MTB but my friends would rent pretty basic decathlon bikes. Anyone taken this route before and any suggestions if there are better places to bike near Sarjapur ?

Decathlon Sarjapur > Carmelaram (rosarian monastery) > Krupanidhi college > Gunjur Palya > Gunjur village > Varthur Lake

Fro: Varthur Lake > Gunjur Lake > Snehadaan > back to  Decathlon

Absolutely fine for any bike - I take my road bike quite often on this road from Narayana Hridayalaya to whitefield via sarjapur decathlon and gunjur varthur etc.

thank you & regards

Try this route,

Decathlon --> Sarjapur --> Bagalur

The route is very good considering the road conditions, ascents and descents. There will not be much traffic once you cross Sarjapur. The total distance(one way) is ~20km.

regards,
Manju
