next race

dear all race fans,
the recce of four of us was successful and Pradeep will soon post the details. the starting point will be just 250 yards south of the recce point on the map, accesibel easiest from university west gate 9temple) on ring road.
the road is clear, good tarmac, road bikers can look forward to smooth riding!

we will need 2 volunteers to man 2 intersections to warn cross traffic (now worry, hardly any, but safe is better!) and the timekeeping team. start and finish will be at the same point next to the Banyan tree.
we are thinking roughly of a loop of 6 km, so 2 , max 3 rounds will be ok i guess?!

As Discussed with pradeep and Georg to get local support, have
discussed with local councillor Mr. Hanumantegowda( who's house is
right next to the starting point ) and he has agreed to flag off the
