Teaching adults how to cycle :BBS Sadashivnagar 18th May 2024

Trainers-4 - Vinod, Raghav, Shalini and SumaArun

Trainees-12

1. Rekha - 64yr old. First time at Sadashivanagar Session. Was trying to scoot. But was not comfortable with the bike sizes and left early .

2. Guhan- Ongoing- Young Star of the day. After consistently attending the training sessions for more than 6 weeks finally he was able to ride without support. Still a bit distracted but a wonderful skill learnt and made the best use of summer holidays. Kudos to his mother Kavan for patiently driving him to the training sessions.

3. Nandan - Ongoing- Another young boy aged around 9-10 yrs was a little more confident to ride today and enjoyed his training . His father was very happy with the progress made.

4. Dr. Suvarnee- Ongoing from cubbon park sessions. Rides well .Was trying to learn to take turns. End of the session managed to do it. Will need more practice.

5. Sangeetha - Had been riding in the past and wanted to refresh her riding skills. Will be able to overcome fear with more practice.

7. Neeba- Newbie- Learnt how to scoot . Will need couple more sessions to build confidence.

8. Nitheesh - 12yr old Newbie. Learnt how to scoot but needs to overcome fear.

9. Akshaya - 14 yr old Newbie and Nitheesh’s sister. Rides with good balance. Needs to learn how to turn .

10. Nichelson- Ongoing from cubbon park sessions. All the way from Marathahalli but arrived at 9:20 while we were preparing to wind up. But did get some riding time and quickly got comfortable with one of the bikes. Needs couple of more sessions.

11. Anvik - Young man who rides his bike like a tornado. All the adult trainers were in awe watching him ride .

12. Sarang - Another young boy who was an expert rider.

In view of the safety of Advik and Sarang would suggest the parents to discontinue the training sessions as they do not need any assistance. The space at Sadashivanagar location is very minimal and keeping an eye on these fast riders would be a task . Let’s give opportunity to others who need the space n who need to learn riding the bicycle. Thanks for understanding .
