Hey guys

Anyone up for co-designing a rear view radar such as this? With an Arduino/Pi and a HB100 doppler radar module. We could have a functional rear view radar in under INR 2k.

I would love to be a part of this. My technical knowledge is zilch apart from reading and craving to do a project on the Pi with various modules.

Hi Hari,

have an RPi2 model B.
Need to buy WiFi module if reqd.

Have you put up any tentative BOM for this?

I haven't put up a BOM yet. Let's brainstorm on functionality first. The raw radar module costs around INR 450 on ebay and one with a breakout board costs 1.3k. Let's see if we can save money by fabricating our own breakout. And let's see what to have on the handlebar. I was thinking of an LED array (unlike an LCD/OLED display that Garmin has).

So I got the radar to work. Building a microcontroller circuit around it. Anyone wanting to come and check it out are always welcome :)
