Dear All,
I am planning to buy Decathlon - Hoptown -3 .
I would be commuting to work occasionally ( ~10 KM - Koramangala to ORR-Sarjapura Road) .
I am planning to buy this for easy storage in home and it can be easily carried in car/trains.
For commuting ~10 KM (one way) will Hop town -3  serve the purpose . How good it will be while riding on some patchy roads like Agara Junction. ....
Appreciate your inputs on this .

Thanks,
Vikram

I'm not an expert on cycling, but that doesn't look like a good bike to commute on, especially 10km. It is more of a recreational bike.

That's what I thought until I actually went and witnessed the size and the weight of it... If you had already done this and still comfortable, then fine. Not sure about the ride quality as I rode it only inside Decathlon.

I have used three folding bikes Dahon Eco Dahon vitesse and hoptown not much of a difference.

For 10 KMS of commuting absolutely no problems at all

1) Recrational - no idea
2) Fast commute bike. With practice ,its much faster than an MTB.  And squeeze through traffic like crazy.
3) Not a good choice in bad roads.
4) Have done about 20-30k+ on a Dahon Eco3 ,no issues. The hoptown is heavier I think.

You cant compare Dahon with b-twin bikes...

Dahon's are lot better , chidambaran is right, it is a heavy bike.
