Hello all,
... more to be posted later.
The landscapes/views in Hampi are really stunning -- rocks, lush green/golden fields, blue-cloudy skies, winding/undulating roads, canals of various sizes... and the various temple/historical structures one can see along the way. ( Plus ofcourse all the structures one can see by going into various temple complexes, etc. )
This was a looong overdue cycling plan, and it was waayyy beyond my expectations. Hoping to make this a more regular cycling destination now.
The 360deg videos really capture the grandeur. Depending on the viewing device, youtube player should give option of upto 2160s resolution. ( => 4K, but it is a mix of 2 videos to give a 360deg recording, where each video is 2160s. )
The videos are best viewed on TV, to get an expansive view. Though unless the TV is 4K, the max resolution might only be 1080s. But TVs should still give the best view, overall. Viewing on tablets is also good, as they should allow higher resolution ( 1440s / 2160s ), with a decent screen size. Viewing on phones is good wrt resolution ( 1440s / 2160s ), but will not give the expansive view.
The videos have some "generic" music; should be lot more enjoyable if you play your own music separately. Believe me, you. :P
Will post more videos in a reply, or might post in a new thread ( for more visibility :) ) .
Hope you all enjoy the views.

ps: As much I would like not too, I feel I should post this as well -- The reports of the crime recently in Hampi, were very disturbing. From some videos in the news, I realised that I had cycled in that area as well. That area has some uniquely spectacular geographic features. When I was riding there, I had made a mental note to explore that area further on subsequent trips. But now, as I think of that area, there is a also the grim reminder that as cycle tourists, we need to be particularly wary of our personal safety, everywhere, all the time. Even when we are in a place which is a regular tourist destination. Personal safety has to be the top factor when planning/doing cycle-rides / cycle-tours. Safe cycling, everyone.
