I was planning on asking my organization to become a member of the
Decathlon store but was wondering what kind of discounts I might
expect. Are the member discounts also only applicable on bulk
purchases? Would appreciate anyone sharing their experience with the
store.

Members discounts are applicable even on singles, but more you buy
more discount you get :)

Hi,

Just thought this will be useful to all.

The easiest way to get membership in Decathlon is by becoming a member of BMC (Bangalore Mountaineering Club). The registration is free. I got my Decathlon membership this way. The website is http://bmcindia.org.

The discounts on all items in Decathlon are meant only for members and non-members anyway can't purchase anything.

Cheers,
Jeevan

I joined it a couple of weeks or a month back! What next? Also I was
genuinely interested in treks and stuff. The fact they have 2 wheels
makes no difference right? :P

Thanks, Jeevan and Yogesh. I joined BMC and got a note that my
decathlon membership will be activated in the 1st week of April. The
company account should be activated sooner (in a day or two).

Do you get discounts on all products, I thought the BMC membership gets you discounts only on outdoor stuff at decath.

You are eligible for all discounts irrespective of the organization through which you had registered.

I had purchased non-trek and lot of other stuff at Decathlon.

Hi.

We were informed in our company that, we can do any purchase in
Decathlon by showing our employee ID card and we would be eligible for
discounts as well.
I just wanted to know, are the same discounts applicable to us as like
other members of Decathlon?
Has anyone done shopping in Decathlon using their employee ID card?

Regards,
Harish.
