My cyclist friend and CFAM councillor, Thiyaga, his email ID being gtrajann@gmail.com tried to join the Bangalore Bikers Club Google group, but is hasn't had success.

Hello Dr. Ali,

Step 1: Ask him to sign out of all google accounts - except the one account he wishes to use for joining the group.

Step 2: Visit: https://groups.google.com/u/2/g/bangalore-bikers Confirm that the Google account (displayed top right) is correct (I have shaded my account photo out in the image clip below).

Step 3: Click on "Join group" (highlighted in green in the attached image)

Step 4: Enter "Display name", keep subscription as "Every new message" and "Join group"

Assuming multiple google accounts is the problem ( as assumed by Karthick ) -- one does not need to logout of all their google logins.  Instead, one can start a incognito browser session, and login to Google with the particular gmail-id, and then do the steps to join the google group.
