looks awesome to me: Low maintenance.....
The roadbike also seems nice, especially for something under 1000$..... I have no idea where to place the components in the sora-tiagra-ultegra hierarchy though
But if u are untending to ride it here, repairs and spares might be an issue

Hi Sud, Thanks for your reply. I was looking at roadbikes around $1000 and came across this site. Had the same thoughts as you on repairs/maintenance and where do these Shimano Alfine gears place in their hierarchy. Unfortunately don't seem to find many reviews on the net for these bikes (once that are there seem to be company sponsored ?).
Regards, Yogesh

but the Synergy road bike they showed was with chain dive only ! we need to wait a few years more and we will have the new drive trains form different brands, in england some guys have come up with kevlar belts and Rohloff hub gears (14 gears , good for one lakh km!!!) in Switz two brother whizards are working on their new shaft drive.. more people in other places work on t hese things, its just a question of time now. clearly these are the ways to go into the future .
