Procedure is simple as long as you have the required documents. Their website has clear instructions. That's your best bet!

Asked my current company for required documentation, but no response from them. Looking for an alternative way.

Heard joining in http://www.bmcindia.org/ would get the membership, but still no response from them.

Is there any other way to get the membership?

Till now what I've seen, companies don't help you in this regard. They tend to be highly sceptical and apprehensive. God knows what they imagine we'll do with the card.

Best advice, befriend a shopkeeper, your gym owner if you go to one, anyone who pays VAT and explain the need and get their documents to apply.

I say don't sweat on it. Generally some other customer at the store would help check out your items.

That usually works but if you have to replace it or for warranty issues etc you need the member card. I confirmed this when my colleague was buying a cycle with my card.

Do we need to submit original documents (VAT etc.) or xerox is enough.
